Getting egg-cited?

Posted on 1 April 2019

Hands up who’s egg-cited for Easter? Having family over, organising an Easter egg hunt, having extra days off to relax and put your feet up (we know that isn’t a luxury afforded to everybody), but with all these additional items that you may be buying for Easter, what can you recycle?

Below is a list of some of the more common items you might have at Easter which can be put in your kerbside recycling bin:

  • Cardboard packaging
  • Moulded plastic packaging that surrounds the chocolate egg
  • Foil
  • Plastic meat trays (must be clean)
  • Plastic fruit punnets (must be clean)
  • For a full list of what can and can’t be recycled, visit the West Sussex recycles website for more details.
