Sat 3 November – The Horsham Repair Café is on this Saturday and our Waste Prevention Advisors will be joining the team between 10am and 1pm with an information stand focusing on how you can help win the #FightAgainstFoodWaste.
The café also has two slots during the day for you to take your items to:

  • Between 10am and 1pm they will be dealing with repairs to laptop, computer, mobile phones & small household electrical items, energy switching & refills.
  • Then between 1.30pm and 4.30pm they’ll be focussing on clothes repairs and upcycling.

Mon 5 November – Transition Chichester are holding their Eco Cinema evening from 7.30pm at the Friends Meeting House in Priory Road, Chichester. The film being shown is called ‘Slowing Down Fast Fashion’ and was produced by former Blur drummer, Alex James. Ticket prices and further info can be found on the Transition Chichester website.

Sat 17 NovemberThe recycled plastic bottle Christmas tree is coming to North Street, Chichester this month to illuminate the festive season. The switch on will happen between 4pm and 5pm outside Jack Wills and we will be joined by the Prebendal Choir and our Waste Prevention Advisors who will be on hand to provide advice on how you could recycle more.

Sat 24 November – Worthing High School are holding a Christmas Craft Fayre between 10.30am and 3pm and the Waste Prevention team will be on hand with their festive stand focusing on how to #FightAgainstFoodWaste during the season of goodwill.
