Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)

Posted on 25 January 2018

In 2015/16 West Sussex residents disposed of 5,950 tonnes, of small electrical items 3,450 tonnes of small electricals were recycled but 2,500 tonnes were thrown out with the rubbish.

This cost WSCC £380K which could have been spent on other vital public services across the county.

But don't fear, you can take small (& large) electricals to your local HWRS & recycle it there instead.
